Le start-up sono di solito brave a sviluppare idee innovative e prototipi, ma spesso hanno difficolt\u00e0 a commercializzare i loro servizi e raramente hanno esperienza nello scalare il loro modello di business. Tuttavia, il rovescio della medaglia della capacit\u00e0 di innovare \u00e8 spesso una contemporanea mancanza di risorse finanziarie e una minore efficienza e redditivit\u00e0. L'opposto \u00e8 vero per le aziende consolidate. La loro forza sta nella coerenza e nell'uso efficiente di ci\u00f2 che gi\u00e0 esiste. Tuttavia, queste abilit\u00e0 spesso vanno a scapito della capacit\u00e0 innovativa e della flessibilit\u00e0. I partecipanti allo studio sottolineano, tuttavia, che le innovazioni possono avvenire anche in aziende consolidate. Ma questi spesso si mettono sulla loro strada. \"Il focus delle aziende mature \u00e8 spesso sul business quotidiano, che genera profitto e con il quale \u00e8 stato costruito un patrimonio di esperienza\", dice il Prof. Dr Petra Kugler della IFU-FHS e co-autore dello studio. A causa dei diversi punti di forza e di debolezza, sono necessari anche diversi servizi di supporto. \"Il bisogno di servizi di consulenza delle start-up e delle aziende consolidate differisce fondamentalmente. Tuttavia, troviamo che la digitalizzazione \u00e8 un argomento centrale sia per le start-up che per le aziende consolidate. Cos\u00ec, le aziende giovani e mature si completano a vicenda in termini di rispettivi punti di forza e di debolezza. \"Tuttavia, entrambe le categorie di aziende hanno difficolt\u00e0 ad implementare i punti di forza dell'altra categoria senza perdere la propria identit\u00e0\", dice il Prof. Dr. Rigo Tietz, coautore e project manager dello studio.
