Questo settore dell'economia ha quindi una composizione tipicamente svizzera. L'industria \u00e8 composta da circa 800 aziende con un totale di 33.000 dipendenti. Le aziende del settore sono riunite nell'organizzazione ombrello KUNSTSTOFF.swiss. Questo include anche aziende attive a livello globale come EMS Chemie, Sika, Geberit e Georg Fischer, per citarne solo alcune.<\/p>\n<h2>Un calo piacevolmente basso del fatturato<\/h2>\n<p>L'Associazione svizzera dell'industria della plastica raccoglie annualmente i suoi dati economici. Le cifre recentemente presentate hanno dato un'impressione piacevole: l'industria sembra aver superato abbastanza bene la crisi legata alla pandemia. Nel 2020, ha raggiunto un fatturato di 14,4 miliardi di franchi svizzeri. Questo \u00e8 solo il 5% in meno rispetto all'anno precedente. Il presidente dell'associazione Silvio Ponti e l'amministratore delegato Kurt R\u00f6schli sono soddisfatti: \"Una ragione di questo \u00e8 certamente la gestione flessibile della crisi da parte delle aziende e la domanda ininterrotta di plastica proprio quando l'igiene diventa il tema principale, perch\u00e9 la plastica protegge\", ha sottolineato Silvio Ponti.<\/p>\n<h2>Vincitori e vinti nell'industria svizzera della plastica<\/h2>\n<p>La tranche pi\u00f9 grande del fatturato dell'industria - circa 67% - proviene dalla lavorazione della plastica. Il calo del fatturato \u00e8 marginale a 1%. Per i commercianti di materie prime, il calo del fatturato ammonta a quasi 8% e riflette i prezzi ancora molto bassi in quel momento. Secondo l'indagine, i fornitori di macchine e periferiche hanno perso di pi\u00f9, con poco pi\u00f9 di 30%. Questo mostra in modo impressionante come i processori si siano trattenuti per quanto riguarda gli investimenti e come li abbiano immediatamente ridotti per rispetto alla crisi.<\/p>\n<p>Naturalmente, ci sono anche dei vincitori: tra questi ci sono aziende che hanno prodotto pareti divisorie in plexiglas. Hanno avuto una massiccia impennata di circa 60% e in alcuni casi sono stati a malapena in grado di consegnare a causa della domanda improvvisa. I produttori di componenti per respiratori e contenitori per disinfettanti sono stati in grado di soddisfare la massiccia domanda solo aggiungendo turni extra. I produttori e i distributori di maschere - anche le maschere sono in gran parte fatte di plastica - hanno sperimentato una rapida tendenza al rialzo.<\/p>\n<h2>Imballaggi e costruzioni: la plastica protegge il clima<\/h2>\n<p>Con una quota di circa 40% ciascuno, i segmenti dell'imballaggio e dell'edilizia continuano ad essere i settori in cui la plastica \u00e8 pi\u00f9 utilizzata. Qui, la plastica d\u00e0 un contributo importante alla protezione del clima. Isolano, risparmiano energia e riducono lo spreco di cibo. L'uso della plastica rende pi\u00f9 leggeri i mezzi di trasporto, che richiedono quindi meno carburante. Isolando gli edifici (soprattutto con la plastica), \u00e8 necessario meno riscaldamento. Con un adeguato imballaggio di plastica, il cibo pu\u00f2 essere conservato pi\u00f9 a lungo e meno deve essere prodotto e buttato via. Questo contribuisce anche alla protezione del clima. A proposito, l'imballaggio rappresenta solo 1,5 - 2% dell'impronta di CO2 del prodotto confezionato.<\/p>\n<p>Le cifre dell'associazione industriale mostrano anche che l'uso dei riciclati aumenter\u00e0 da 8% (2019) a 14% nel 2020. Ci\u00f2 \u00e8 dovuto al miglioramento dei processi di produzione e all'attenzione delle aziende al riciclaggio. Per alcune aziende dei settori della logistica e della costruzione, quote di circa 30% di materiale riciclato sono all'ordine del giorno, il che sottolinea ancora una volta la riciclabilit\u00e0 della plastica.<\/p>\n<h2>I lavoratori qualificati e la Svizzera come luogo di lavoro<\/h2>\n<p>Anche se il numero di aziende \u00e8 diminuito a 743 rispetto all'anno precedente (854), il numero di dipendenti \u00e8 rimasto stabile a 33'029 rispetto a 33'935, secondo KUNSTSTOFF.swiss. Tanto pi\u00f9 che, come ha sottolineato il presidente Silvio Ponti, ci\u00f2 non \u00e8 dovuto principalmente alla crisi, ma molto di pi\u00f9 alla mancanza di lavoratori qualificati. L'amministratore delegato Kurt R\u00f6schli ha aggiunto: \"L'industria offre molti apprendistati interessanti e promettenti. Perch\u00e9 i tecnologi della plastica sono lavoratori qualificati estremamente ricercati\".<\/p>\n<p>La pandemia ha dimostrato ancora una volta quanto sia importante la Svizzera come luogo di produzione. La quota di lavoratori qualificati \u00e8 aumentata da poco pi\u00f9 di 64% a quasi 69%, a scapito dei lavoratori semiqualificati, la cui quota \u00e8 diminuita. Nel complesso, tuttavia, continua ad esserci una grande carenza di lavoratori qualificati nell'industria svizzera della plastica.
