Per i 653 consumatori di pesce intervistati in Svizzera, la sostenibilit\u00e0 di un prodotto ittico \u00e8 il fattore pi\u00f9 importante dopo la freschezza e l'aspetto salutistico - molto prima di fattori come il prezzo o la marca. Con questo risultato, gli svizzeri sono i consumatori di pesce pi\u00f9 \"sensibili alla sostenibilit\u00e0\" al mondo.<\/p>\n<p>\"Il sondaggio tra i consumatori mostra anche come l'industria del pesce sia diversa rispetto ad altre industrie. La sostenibilit\u00e0 ha ovviamente una rilevanza reale qui e i consumatori le danno una priorit\u00e0 pi\u00f9 alta nelle loro scelte di prodotto di quanto pensassimo\".<em>, <\/em>dice Caroline Holme<strong>, <\/strong>Amministratore delegato dell'istituto di ricerche di mercato GlobeScan.<\/p>\n<p>Due su tre dei consumatori di pesce intervistati in Svizzera (67%) hanno espresso la volont\u00e0 di scavare pi\u00f9 a fondo nel loro portafoglio per i prodotti ittici sostenibili che per quelli non sostenibili. Anche un aumento di prezzo di 11% sarebbe ancora accettabile per la met\u00e0 degli intervistati.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I consumatori hanno fiducia nelle ONG - e nel loro potere di consumatori<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>L'alta disponibilit\u00e0 degli svizzeri ad acquistare pesce pescato in modo sostenibile (81%) in un confronto globale \u00e8 anche legata al fatto che in questo paese c'\u00e8 una consapevolezza particolarmente forte della minaccia ai nostri oceani e del problema della pesca eccessiva - non da ultimo grazie al lavoro educativo pluriennale di organizzazioni come il WWF.<\/p>\n<p>Alla domanda su chi potrebbe contribuire maggiormente alla protezione degli oceani, i consumatori hanno nominato pi\u00f9 frequentemente le organizzazioni non governative (52%) e le istituzioni scientifiche (34%). Questo \u00e8 seguito dai consumatori stessi: Una persona su quattro crede di poter influenzare la protezione degli oceani attraverso il suo comportamento d'acquisto. I governi, d'altra parte, sono valutati come poco influenti.<\/p>\n<p>\"I consumatori di pesce in Svizzera sono consapevoli dell'importanza della pesca sostenibile - e sono disposti a cambiare il loro comportamento di acquisto per proteggere gli oceani. Si sentono autorizzati a votare per la sostenibilit\u00e0 con i loro portafogli\".<em>, <\/em>dice Andrea Harmsen<strong>, <\/strong>Portavoce di MSC per Svizzera, Austria e Germania.<\/p>\n<p>L'alto livello di fiducia dei consumatori nell'influenza positiva delle ONG e della scienza corrisponde anche alla percezione che i consumatori hanno dell'MSC: il 73% dei consumatori che conoscono l'etichetta MSC la trovano affidabile e vedono positivamente l'influenza dell'organizzazione. Tre quarti di tutti i consumatori di pesce in Svizzera (76%) continuano a credere che le marche e i supermercati dovrebbero far verificare in modo indipendente le dichiarazioni sulla sostenibilit\u00e0 dei loro prodotti.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un'offerta ampliata pu\u00f2 facilitare la scelta sostenibile<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La consapevolezza della sostenibilit\u00e0 degli svizzeri \u00e8 alta, cos\u00ec come la volont\u00e0 di comprare pesce pescato in modo sostenibile, e sigilli come quello dell'MSC rendono facile per i consumatori riconoscere i prodotti sostenibili al primo sguardo. Il 69% degli intervistati - e la tendenza \u00e8 in aumento - dichiara di comprare gi\u00e0 pesce e frutti di mare con un'etichetta di sostenibilit\u00e0 quando possibile. Tuttavia, l'offerta di pesce da catture sostenibili \u00e8 ancora limitata. Solo il 10% di tutto il pesce e dei frutti di mare nel mondo proviene da una pesca sostenibile e certificata MSC.<\/p>\n<p>\"La collaborazione dell'MSC con scienziati, altre organizzazioni non governative, l'industria della pesca e il commercio ha gi\u00e0 portato a molti cambiamenti positivi nei nostri mari. Ha avuto luogo in Australia, Austria, Belgio, Canada, Cina, Danimarca, Finlandia, Francia, Germania, Italia, Giappone, Paesi Bassi, Norvegia, Polonia, Singapore, Sud Africa, Spagna, Svezia, Svizzera, Regno Unito e Stati Uniti.<\/p>\n<p>Il campione principale comprendeva 16.876 consumatori che hanno detto che loro o qualcuno nella loro famiglia aveva comprato pesce o frutti di mare negli ultimi due mesi. In Svizzera, 811 consumatori hanno partecipato al sondaggio.
