(Immagine: Suisse Eole)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>86 % della capacit\u00e0 delle nuove centrali installate per la produzione di elettricit\u00e0 in Europa nel 2016 sono rinnovabili: l'eolico ha rappresentato 51 % dell'aggiunta totale, il solare 27 %. Nel 2016, 10,4 % dell'elettricit\u00e0 in Europa proveniva dall'energia eolica, in Svizzera solo poco meno di 0,2 %.<\/p>\n<p>Una media di 12 nuove turbine eoliche \u00e8 entrata in funzione ogni giorno nell'UE nel 2016. Grazie alla forte espansione, l'energia eolica \u00e8 ora la seconda pi\u00f9 importante tecnologia di produzione di elettricit\u00e0 nell'UE dopo le centrali a gas, ma ancora davanti alle centrali a carbone. Soprattutto in inverno, l'energia eolica gioca un ruolo importante nella fornitura di energia rinnovabile, quindi completa l'energia solare e idroelettrica, che producono meno nei mesi invernali, come un giocatore di squadra.<\/p>\n<p><strong>11 paesi con pi\u00f9 di 10 % di energia eolica<br \/>\n<\/strong>La quota di energia eolica nel mix di elettricit\u00e0 in Danimarca, leader dell'UE, era di 36,8 % nel 2016, seguita dall'Irlanda con 27 % e dal Portogallo con 24,7 %. Un totale di 11 paesi copre pi\u00f9 di 10 % della loro domanda di elettricit\u00e0 con l'energia eolica. Per fare un confronto: in Svizzera, la quota \u00e8 di 0,2%. \u00a9Grafico: WindEurope<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><strong>La Svizzera aumenta la capacit\u00e0 installata del 25 %<br \/>\n<\/strong>Anche la capacit\u00e0 installata in Svizzera \u00e8 aumentata di 25 % grazie al repowering di quattro turbine sul Mont Crosin e alla costruzione di tre nuove turbine sul Griespass, ma si parte da un livello molto modesto: solo poco meno di 0,2 % della domanda svizzera di elettricit\u00e0 proviene dall'energia eolica. E questo nonostante il fatto che il potenziale in questo paese sarebbe grande: 10 % della fornitura di elettricit\u00e0 potrebbero essere coperti da energia eolica nel 2050.
