Twint co-founder Michael Hügli becomes Head of Marketing at Comparis
The Comparis Group is expanding its management team: Michael Hügli will take over the newly created position of Head of Marketing at the Swiss online comparison service from November 1, 2025.
Hügli is co-founder of the digital payment system Twint and currently manages the Mobiliar subsidiary Buildigo AG, a platform for finding tradespeople. With his experience in digital product development and marketing, he will drive the further development of Comparis in the age of generative AI.
"Michael Hügli has excellent prerequisites for significantly increasing user benefits once again," says Comparis CEO Ingo Kopido.
With over 80 million visits per year, Comparis is one of the most frequently used Swiss websites. In addition to its traditional focus on health insurance and insurance comparisons, the company now also operates the largest real estate portal in Switzerland. Since it was founded in 1996 by Richard Eisler, Comparis has focused on market transparency in order to help consumers make decisions.
