iust.ai: AI platform brings legal information into the digital age

With iust.ai, a new AI-based platform for legal information has been launched in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, the Benelux countries and Italy. It is aimed at private individuals and small companies who need legal support in an uncomplicated and cost-effective way. The application is available around the clock and provides answers suitable for everyday use based on the current legal situation.

Since April 2026, the platform iust.ai available in several European countries - developed by the digital company Federli Informatik in Dübendorf/Zurich and Europe. The interdisciplinary team of lawyers and data scientists has created a solution that gives people without prior legal knowledge simple and pragmatic access to legal issues. The aim is to make access to the law simpler, faster and more affordable.

Everyday language instead of technical jargon

Users can ask their legal questions in normal everyday language and receive a precise answer in a matter of seconds. It is also possible to upload official letters, contracts or other legal documents, which the platform automatically analyzes and explains in plain language. This makes access to legal support much more accessible - especially in situations where consulting a lawyer is either not necessary or not affordable.

The platform currently covers the key areas of law in the DACH region, Italy and the Benelux countries: the Code of Obligations, civil law, criminal law, tenancy and employment law, family law, administrative law, road traffic law and consumer protection law. iust.ai independently recognizes which laws are applicable to a specific case. The data is constantly updated with the latest changes in legislation and case law and the quality of the answers is regularly monitored by legal experts.

Orientation, clarity and concrete steps

Testimonials from beta users show how helpful digital legal advice is in everyday life. Users from Germany, Switzerland and Austria describe cases relating to tenancy, criminal, traffic, tax and employment law as well as personal crisis situations such as family law, debt and divorce. They emphasize that they were able to go through their situation step by step with the help of iust.ai, understood their rights, learned about important deadlines and formulations and were thus able to draft appropriate letters correctly.

Both lawyers and private individuals emphasize the understandable language, precision and legal quality of the answers. The structured recommendations for action, the opportunity to ask open questions and the specific reference to relevant articles of law are particularly appreciated. Lawyer Martin G. from Zurich summarizes his experience as follows: «As a lawyer, I have tried iust.ai and am delighted. I asked a lot of questions and was pleasantly surprised by the very good legal answers I received. I can recommend iust.ai with conviction.»

A user from Regensdorf provides a particularly impressive example: around three years ago, he received a debt collection order against which he lodged an appeal. When the debt collection still appeared in the extract years later and the original creditor had gone bankrupt in the meantime, he used iust.ai to write a complaint and submit it to the court - with success: the complaint was upheld.

Highest data protection standards

All inquiries and documents are processed in encrypted form and stored on secure servers in Germany. The platform meets the requirements of the revised Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG) and the provisions of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). No data is passed on to third parties.

Cost models and limits of AI

Getting started is free of charge: The so-called starter tariff allows you to answer seven legal questions and upload a document for analysis for seven days. A one-off legal consultation with ten questions costs less than 10 euros or francs. For more in-depth use, a monthly subscription is available at 29.90 euros/CHF. For users with regular needs, there is a Pro tariff for individuals and a business model for SMEs.

The platform expressly points out that iust.ai serves as an initial guide and helpful clarity - not as a complete substitute for professional legal representation. In complex or legally risky situations, personal advice from a lawyer is still advisable. iust.ai is currently available in over 30 languages; the database for France and Spain is in preparation.
