The way in which companies are found in the digital space is changing fundamentally. With the Spring Spotlight 2026, Hubspot is responding to this development and presenting new AI products under the leitmotif of «value». The focus is on quality, stability and measurable results - not just a flood of features.

From SEO to AEO: The answer to AI search behavior

The new Hubspot AEO tool (Answer Engine Optimization) marks a paradigm shift. While traditional search engine optimization aims to rank in search results, AEO is about showing up in the answers of AI systems. «The way people search for information is changing rapidly,» explains Yamini Rangan, CEO of Hubspot. «More and more decisions are being made based on AI-generated answers. Companies need to understand how to stay visible. This is exactly where Hubspot AEO supports them.»

The tool summarizes in a dashboard where and how often brands appear in AI responses from systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity. It shows which sources are used and how visibility and perception are developing among the competition. The tool uses the context of Hubspot Smart CRM to suggest prompts based on real customer data.

Context-based AI for greater efficiency

«AIs primarily search for content and not keywords. It is therefore imperative that companies distribute their data uniformly and cleanly - otherwise any potential will be wasted,» emphasizes Jennifer Lapp, Head of Growth DACH & LATAM at Hubspot. Those who prioritize AEO now can increase their AI referral traffic by an average of 20 percent. Hubspot AEO is integrated into Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise and is also available as a standalone solution.

In addition to AEO, Hubspot presents further AI-supported functions: The Breeze Assistant for Loop Marketing supports marketing teams in target group analysis, brand management and campaign planning. Based on real customer data and previous results, it helps to implement marketing measures in a more targeted and consistent manner.

Automation in sales and service

The Prospecting Agent recognizes buying signals such as job changes, financing rounds or technology launches and automatically creates buying committees. This enables sales teams to approach customers who are ready to buy in a targeted manner. Smart Deal Progression analyzes call logs, suggests next steps and automatically updates CRM data.

For customer service, the Customer Agent provides automated responses to routine inquiries. It uses information from knowledge databases and CRM data, while complex cases are handed over to employees with full context. Teams that use the Customer Agent record 25 percent more resolved tickets and 15 percent faster processing times.

Technology as a tool, not an end in itself

«Technology should simplify everyday working life, not make it more complicated,» says Jennifer Lapp. «With the Spring Spotlight 2026, we are showing how AI can be used sensibly - as a tool that supports companies instead of overburdening them.» A live demo on April 29, 2026 will show the new features in action.

Hubspot offers companies a platform that combines marketing, sales and service with an intelligent CRM system and AI-supported products. Over 278,000 companies in more than 135 countries already use Hubspot's tools.
