The second AI in Marketing Conference impressively followed on from the success of its premiere in 2025. More than 500 experts from marketing, communication and technology took part in the one-day event at The Circle at Zurich Airport. On four parallel stages, 12 keynotes, 11 masterclasses and a panel offered highly topical insights into the latest developments in artificial intelligence in marketing.

41 experts, four stages, one topic

In the various sessions, a total of 41 experts shared their knowledge on topics such as generative AI, agents, automation of marketing processes, legal issues in dealing with AI and the practical use of tools for creating texts, images and videos. Contributions that showed how marketing teams can work more efficiently and optimize strategies based on data with the help of AI were particularly popular.

The speakers included Daniela Nyarko from Canva, Claudio Mirti from Microsoft, Anna Habighorst from Meta and Dr. Valerio Stallone from the HWZ. Companies such as Helvetia and Syngenta as well as agencies such as Hase und Igel, Unic, Kuble and Jung von Matt provided insights into their AI processes and shared their learnings and best practices with the audience.

Studies show ambivalent effect of AI

Various studies by the University of Bern, Unic in collaboration with the HWZ and Feinheit were also presented. The results showed how the use of AI is already changing culture, equality and work processes - and not always to the advantage of those involved.

«The conference offers a unique opportunity for exchange with players from practice, legislation and research. Different perspectives and priorities meet here at eye level and lead to discussions that resonate,» says Tanja Herrmann, founder and managing director of the AI in Marketing conference.

AI Art Exhibition and SkAI Dinner

The conference was rounded off with an AI Art Exhibition, which showed works by five AI artists from Switzerland. In the panel «Is this art or can it go away?» there was a heated discussion about when something is art and how creativity should be defined. The conference day concluded with the new SkAI Dinner on the ninth floor with a view over Zurich Airport.
